2026 Financial Support Policy & Process

  • The School of Consent offers financial support via a tuition reduction program.
  • Financial support is prioritized to support people who come from or work with traditionally marginalized communities with regard to race, sexual identity and socioeconomics and who want to use the Wheel in their profession. We also consider applications from people in countries where the exchange rate against the dollar makes the course inaccessible.
  • The average amount of support is 20-25% off per student, and in some cases, the highest reduction possible may reach 50%.
  • We have limited financial support available for each Like a Pro course. We seek to be effective in supporting multiple students with this money based on need and intention to make an impact based on participation.
  • Please indicate on your application that you are seeking financial support and discuss your need during your interview with the course instructor.
  • Students seeking financial support to attend Like a Pro are encouraged to apply within the first month after a course  registration opens. Funds are typically allocated 5 weeks after registration opens. Students who apply in that time frame should expect to hear back from us within 6 weeks of registration opening. Additional requests may be granted after this, if there are funds remaining.
  • If granted support, you will have one week to make your payment (or first payment of a payment plan).
  • Support can not be deferred or transferred to another course.
  • Additionally, we offer three or four work trade discounts per in-person course. This is $200 off registration in exchange for help with practical tasks during the training like set up, clean up, and putting out snacks for breaks. You will not miss any class time. We sometimes combine work trade with other financial assistance.
  • The amount of financial support for other School of Consent courses varies (ex: Working with Groups, Wheel of Consent Facilitator Certification Course), but is based on the same needs and principles.
