Stella is a sexological bodyworker, erotic coach, and Wheel of Consent® facilitator. Her work is queer-centred, feminist and trans-inclusive, and grounded in social justice.
Stella has been in hands-on work for over 40 years, working as a registered nurse in the early 80’s until 2023, across women’s health, HIV and sexual health, in direct care, management and policy roles.
She started a path out of nursing in 2017, when she realised she could draw on her own experiences in kink, play, and performance, plus her nursing experience, to make a professional path into pleasure-based work, starting with sexological bodywork.
Attending her first Like a Pro with Dr. Betty Martin and Robyn Dalzen in 2018, Stella immediately fell in love with the practices of the Wheel, and with how it is felt, practiced and taught. The Wheel has profoundly changed her ways of being in relationships and communities, as a sexological bodyworker, and for those last years of nursing work.
Stella sees people in-person and online, runs and co-runs workshops and groups (often queer-specific), and speaks on panels, events and podcasts.
Stella is queer, neurodivergent and cis, a mother and grandmother, with English-Irish-German ancestry, living on Dharawal country.Â
